Moped insurance no-claims converts to car insurance no-claims?

Does anybody know if this is possible? and what company's do this...
basicly ma son is 15 and his 16th birthday is coming up, i want to know if its possible for him to get insured on a moped, and build up a year no-claims, and then when he is 17, get insured on a car and keep that 1 year no-claims to provide cheaper car insurance.... please let me know any information you have on this :)

Some insurers will, some won't. Without knowing what state/province you live in it's impossible for anyone here to say for sure as it depends on an individual company's underwriting guidelines. |
