The single lane road is separated by broken hatched markings. At the time I was preparing to turn right for the next road, slowing down and didn't relize that the car behind me wants to overtake me. As I cross the hatched markings and then the incident happen. The right side AFT of the car I was driving is badly damaged! We pulled over. The guy from the other car starts ranting at me and blaming the accident is my fault saying I was turning left instead and not his girlfriend fault (and he says he's has 2 witnesses). Anyhow, we exchanged details and they drove off. I reported the incident to the police and my insurance. A bit complicated here, I wasn't driving my car but my friend's car and I am legally a 3rd party! I already inform my insurance and the police but do I need to inform my friend's insurance? Also, because I am a 3rd partyon that car would my insurance help me out and chase the other driver who caused the crash. Thanks
