My cousin was pictured speeding on driving my car but he doesn't have a US license. Am I responsible?

A high way camera caught him speeding my car in Arizona while visiting from overseas. He doesn't have a valid US license or address, so I got the picture by mail. Am I responsible for his ticket? Does he have to pay even if he's not in the DMV system?

Don't ask here, ask DMV, it's too important an issue to rely on opinions from people here, especially since so many don't take it seriously.
You can't make things worse by asking them, and it could be a simple matter to put right if you have the information you need, but if you follow bad advice from here, it could be a major problem to later put right.
People on vacation drive in the US every day, so not having a US licence isn't likely to be a big deal, it MAY depend which country his licence is from, but I really don't know.
Like I say, ask DMV. |

Yes you are responsible the photo radar tickets are the responsibility of the registered owner of the vehicle. It isn't really fair and in my opinion is just a revenue maker but thats the law and the way they do it. |
