My dad wants to take me driving tomorrow?

He'll let me get behind the wheel and then teach me how to drive.
But the thing is, my mom and I are afraid that we might get in trouble because I don't have a learner's permit or anything.
Should I go? I'm 15 and I live in TX.

It's a 50/50 chance that something might happen when you're driving. Just wait until you get a learner's permit to be on the safe side.

But most people do drive illegally, but do it around an empty parking lot. Or a neighborhood.

not if you live in a populated area. if you live in the sticks it's prolly ok. id suggest going to some old rancher and asking if you can practice on private roads/ if you are caught driving by the cops it will ruin your chances of getting a liscence till you r 18

my dad took me driving when i was 14 it was fun because there was no cars around but dont worry if you dont have your permit alot of people drive illegaly

Sure you should go for it, i mean its not like some guy is teachin you how to drive....Its only your DAD,.....BUT

thats sick, go, but dont get on any streets with other cars. limit it to small streets like suburbs n stuff. whenever im bored i just go for a joyride around my area.
