My daughter claims disabled tax on her motor in my name,do i need to be with her 24/7for it to legal?

Regarding the tax I quote, "To qualify for exemption the vehicle should be used substantially for the purposes of the disabled person." It doesn't say "completely".

Regarding the insurance, only her insurers could tell her this, though I strongly doubt there would be any problem.

I have no idea why people are going on about parking badges . . .

hi, in answer to your question. if it just your tax then i am sure she can drive at all times with or without you. but if your car is a motobility then the rules are that the car is only to be used for you and your needs IE shopping ,to pick up your medication .anything that you require. to take you to appointments etc but the way around that is who knows that what ever your daughter is doing that she isn't doing it for you i think the rule is daft really and i don't think people take it too serious because you are given a mileage allowance for the car and if you carnt drive then your mileage would be next to nothing, anyway my daughter uses the car all the time our understanding is if she was to have an accident it would be going or coming back from an err end for me. she did have a bump but the question was never asked at all and as you carnt drive the insurance is in her name and nothing to do with you really is it .. it goes for a motobility or private car

I don't think so, as long as she is "at your beck and call" so to say. I know a few people who do this and I even did it for a while for someone. Plus if there ever was a problem she could just say she was on an errand for you.

If she does not use the disabled badge and disabled car parking facilities while she is not with you, I dont think its a problem.

The car needs to be a your dispoal. If for example she goes on holiday in the car and your left without mobility for a few days. Then they could not only void her insurance, but also take away the car and any benefits claimed due to mobility.

I wouldn't worry about it, theres a couple in our street whos grandson is disabled, he comes to stay 2 weeks of the year, and the card for the parking stop stays in the car all year!!!!! We live in Spain, so its not like they help him with transport everyday, laxy buggers thats what they are, theres a disabled car parking spot right outside their house!!!!!
