£50 is the normal price go to anther doctor its a private medical and any doctor can do it but your own doctor has the adantage of being able to use your records last time i had mine he just took most of the info from them did one or to tests and that was it |

The charge for a medical to obtain a PCV or LGV licence is down to the practitioner. Some will carry out the medical for free, others will make a nominal charge - up to say, £40 or £50.
Excecting to charge £150 is a joke... |

It is a bit on the high side, I would expect to pay about £100. Pop into another surgery and ask the receptionist what the cost for PCV medical is. |

Same as for HGV (LGV now). Although a Doctor can charge what he likes, £50-£60 would be reasonable from your own GP.
It's nothing to do with DVLA, and if you don't have the medical, you simply don't get the Licence. If you look at it over the 5 yr duration of licence, it's not bad value. |

Seems a bit steep. I would suggest you get another doctor in the surgery to fill it in for you. |
