It depends on your insurance. You should at your insurance company if a person not insured in your car is covered. There's only one insurance company that I know that does that. |

Since she is a regular user of the vehicle, you should have her added as a driver on your policy. Better safe then sorry! |

I don't know the insurance laws in Michigan as I live in Oklahoma. But here anyone living in your house must be listed or excluded from your policy. However people that do not live with you do not need to be listed on your policy, unless they drive your vehicle all the time. If they only drive occasionally and you trust them to drive your vehicle they do not need to be listed on your policy to be covered under the insurance. |

Yes as long as she has a valid drivers license. As long as she does not live in your home she does not need to be named on your policy. Any licensed driver not living in your household can drive any of your vehicles without being named on your policy. Any licensed driver living in your household must be named on your policy. |

This is based on what your insurance policy states. I would call your insurance company and ask them. All though you wouldn't be responsable for any harm or damages that she caused if she was to get into an accident, your insurance wouldn't pay for your car repairs if it's stated in the policy that no drivers are insured that aren't listed. |

Hint...... use something called common sense, call your insurance agent and find out! |

If your daughter is not named on your insurance, she's not insured - if she's not insured and had an accident, she would be in big trouble. If you lived in England, where I do, you may find yourselves in trouble too, for aiding and abetting. I can't imagine things would be so different in the US, where they seem to be even more strict on these things. |
