Yes.
Online is easy - just get the number from the V5 document or sent to you to remind you to renew. If the MOT is valid and insurance is valid there should be no problems. |

Yes because you MOT is still valid until the 3rd, if it had expired then you wouldn't be able to. You just need a valid MOT certificate and valid insurance certificate, along with your renewal form, that should be it. |

Yes, as long as you have a MOT that is valid on the first date of the month that the new tax runs from, you can use it to get a tax disc.
However, once the MOT runs out, your insurance company will try and weasel out of any claim you make, so I strongly advise you to get your car re-MOTed before the old MOT runs out. If the new test date is within a certain number of days of the old, the new cert will run from the date of the old one, so you don't lose out on a couple of days..
Insurance is really expensive now, and if you don't have a MOT, the money is wasted as they will invalidate your cover if you need it. |
