My new vehicle registration has the wrong zip code on the address. It is way off. How do I get this corrected?

You can do a change of address at the DMV or (if you're a member)AAA Auto Club. You can also do it on line at http://www.dmv.ca.gov/online/coa/welcome.htm.
The zip code will be corrected in their computer so the next time you renew, the registration will be correct.

If you want a correct one in your car, then you need REG 156 Application for duplicate documents. They normally charge $18 for this, but they can exempt the cost. And they should because they're correcting a mistake. But really you don't need the right zip code in your car, as long as it's in the computer correct.
