My parents dont let me get a license till im 25?

I'm reasonably certain that, in most parts of the USA (and in the world for that matter), you are an adult at age 18.

After seeing your grammar I really can't blame them, but once you are 18 you can do whatever you want. Of course you have to be able to have a job and provide for yourself first. If you live at home, the your parents rules stand!

Once you turn 18, you are an adult, and therefore are no longer under your parents' control. You can get your license then.

They can't stop you once you reach 18 in most states and provinces. They don't have to let you drive their vehicles, however, and if you are living at home they don't have to let you park a vehicle on their property.

ok unless you live right in the middle of the city, you're gonna have to have it sooner than that! How do they expect you to go to school, work, anything? Trust me you'll get it sooner than that....they'll get sick of carting you around everywhere!

you can always get your license by your self, but that means you'll have to pay for everything by yourself too.... driving is costly... and according to the dmv, a privilege.

They probably excluded drivers under 25 on their insurance to save money. This will have no impact on you obtaining your license and buying your own car when you are an adult. You just won't be able to drive their cars. They can't stop you from getting your license when you are an adult.

not possible in america unless when you turn 18 they say you are mentaly incapeable of takeing care of yourself, and if they lie about that they can get into major legal troubles. not to mention its hard to prove you mentaly incapeable, especialy if you have all the abilities to operate a computer, navagate yahoo awnsers and post a Q! in america they can prohibit you legaly untill you are 18 then its YOUR choice.

Who can blame them? The brought you in this world. Why are you in such a hurry to leave? You are going to have to work till you are 25. At that time you will have enough money to buy your own car. A license to drive what exactly? Tractor, lawn mower? Spaceship or inter galactic vehicles?
