If your parents get Comp. & Collision Coverage your vehicle will be covered in the event you damage your own vehicle or are in an accident with another vehicle whether the other vehicle has insurance coverage or not. |

that will depend on the type of insurance, some insurance will cover u and ur car and if there is other car involved it will cover it as will.
other types just cover cars or only the other part car... u should ask the company of insurance to be sure. |

Well you have to get insurance in your name and then, yes legally your covered. But as far as insurance actually taking care of you it depends on whether you get collision or comprehensive coverage. Collision coverage will only cover the other car and the people in it in case of an accident, and it is the minimum you need to drive legally. For more money though you can get comprehensive insurance which will cover you and your car as well. Since your parents are getting it for you I would guess, unless your well off, that they're getting you collision cause thats what my mom did. Hope that helps! |

it depends on what kind of accident most important what insurance ur getting. u can get just cheep insurance that covers the other car only. or u can get full insurance but be covered by certain accidents, like if it was ur fault or not, |
