today at the mall someone stole my wallet that i dropped in the arcade and everything was in it "the guy wouldn't check the cameras i mean thats what there for right) well my license was in there so i have to get a new one can i still drive to school if i have no other way to get there please help!!

well techinically you can drive to school but it's not legal. iF you get caught you'd probably be fined. Don't drive to school and call the DMV to see if they can get you a backup one or a new one if your old license is lost. Hitch a ride off a friend or bus to school. Walk or bike. I'm sure driving isnt' the only way. |

If you get pulled over, your story would sound like a sorry excuse. But if you have to get to school, what other choice do you have. It's always best to keep a xeoric copy of your drivers license to you have somewhat of a back up. Its not a valid identification, but its better than telling a cop it was stolen.
Go to school, be careful, and go to the DMV after school. |

No, the cameras are in the arcade to catch punks abusing the machines and stealing coins/tokens. If you do not have a license in your possession, you cannot legally drive. Go to the DMV and get a duplicate. |

Just because your license is no longer in your possession doesn't mean it ceases to exist. Do you know your license number? If not, call your insurance agent and get it. Write it down. If you are stopped, tell them your wallet was stolen, but your license number is ______. They will run it, find it's valid if it is.
Notify the credit bureaus of the theft, just in case. |

Get a new licence as soon as possible, it is not good to drive without one.
File a police report on your stolen licence so there is a record. They can request to view the security camera. Do not wait too long as some companies re-use the video tapes. |

You still can drive. If you ever get arrested, you have to explain very calmly what happened, even if you dont have the driving license with you, they have you registred somewhere. You will simply have hard time because they will ask a lot of questions and everything. Its not illegal, but it risk to get complicated. imo. |

I'd drive very carefully until you get a new one. Hopefully you know your license number. If you're pulled over, you can explain what happened and that you are waiting on a new license and they can look it up in the computer that you have one. |

i think you can just report it stolen so in case you do get pulled over or something you can give them your name and it will show up that its stolen so you wont get in trouble for not having it till you get the new one... |

yes you can drive but if you happen to get pulled over you must be able to provide any information officer may need including license number to verify id. and if you have a valid license. if you have some kind of id and explain your situation you should be ok. |
