Can only give her 3 points and a fine, but remember she's only got 3 left before ban |

perhaps it will learn her not to speed next time ,she will get three points on her licence and a £60 fine |

She might just get three points if she gets six then she resits test.
If she has been caught think of the insurance premiums for a new driver with 3 speeding points !!!

you are allowed 6 points on your licence in the first 2 years before you have to retake your test.she will probably get 3 points and a £60 fixed penalty fine.as long as she has no more points on her licence she should be okay. |

3 points and 60 quid fine |

It depends. If you get 3 points, she'll be ok, just hiked insurance premiums for the next few years.
If she gets 6 points she'll lose her licence. The limit is 12 points on a full licence, but only 6 points within the first year the licence is held. |

3 points and a £60 fine will be on it's way to her in the post if she has. Some would say that you could take the points on your licence by filling the form in and saying that you were driving but that would be illegal wouldn't it . ;-) |

i think its a 60 pound fine and 3 points. she needs to be carefull from now on because you only get 6 points for the first three years of having your license |

My missus got caught on a camera in Southampton. Illegal camera, that is. Not painted in high vis paint, just lovely grey. That's not in keeping with every other camera in the UK. So she's just about to appeal the conviction on the grounds that the camera was not obvious thereby breaking the police's own rules. Convicted by evidence from an illegal source is no conviction at all.
Have a look where your wife got caught. Either way she's unlikely to get a ban, maybe a fine and either three or six points. |

3 points and £60 fine, if she gets caught again within the 2 years of passing her test - making 6 points then she will ahve to re-sit the driving test. |

hi i think that you are looking at three points and £60 fine your best bet is to invest in a road angel or other safety camera device and be extra carefull in the future local goverments want every penny they can get from us |
|

It'll be a fixed penalty £60 fine and 3 points which won't result in a ban. In the first year after passing your test I believe 6 points is the re-sit point.
Might not do her insurance premiums any good though! |

Doubt if it will be a ban just a hefty fine and points on her licence. |

Not if it is like in the US. You pay a fine, and/or you get points assessed. As long as you don't continue to violate the law, for a given period of time, the points are removed. After a year or so, it reverts back to zero and then she would be free to violate the law once again. In most states in the US, you can go to the local police department, show some identification and get a copy of your driving record. It may be that she was never cited. |

3 points and a £60 fine. You don't have to take your test again unless you get 6 points within the first 2 years after passing.
She won't be banned unless caught doing at least 30% more than the speed limit or over 100mph on the motorway (or other dangerous driving situations).
To help her insurance premium if she has been caught, she should take the Pass Plus course. It'll also teach her the importance of not doing 40 in a 30mph zone, although hopefully she's learnt that already. |

3 points,£60 fine, if you have not received a summons within 14 days then the Notice Of Intended Prosecution has not been properly served, so if you have not heard anything within 2 weeks you should be OK |

hi
as a police cadet i only think she will only get a fine and 3 points on her licence
no ban dont worry |

Not all cameras have film in them and if your really unlucky she will get three points on her licence and a £60 fine.
Fines are sent quite quickly so if you don't hear anything after about a month you should be OK but it might take longer you will just have to keep your fingers crossed. |

she will get a fine and 3 points on her licence however if she gets more than 8 point with in the first year she will have it taken off her (and remember always slow down when you see a camera sign) |
