can any one tell me the name of any car insurance company who does't ask to provide NO CLAIM BONUS CERTIFICATE ?

they should all ask for it, or at least the name of the company you were last with along with the policy number for them to ring them for the confirmation. saying that, i did my insurance with the aa on line last year, my ncb was coming from elephant.com and i couldnt find the old policy number, and the aa never contacted me to provide confirmation of my bonus. i dont know if this is standard practise or if they failed to do it in error. |

I insured last year with M&S Finance and they just took word of mouth from me. They did ask for my previous insurer, so they may have checked it with them direct. |

I've never been asked for one, I have full no claims & switch to the cheapest insurer every year.
All insurance companies share a database, so they'll only ask to see a certificate if they basically don't believe you, or if you don't appear on the database. |

Any that doesn't, will in any case check on the database all motor insurers now share. If you've lost yours, don't worry. If you're trying it on, hard luck. |

Your existing insurer should provide proof of your no claims for free, ask them.
Most insurers will ask you to provide proof of your no claims, *if* and only if they can't obtain the information electronically from the national database.
Don't whatever you do, lie about the no claims bonus you have. |
