Number Plate Check?

I need a free online way to find out who a car is registered to and/or what area it was registered in, i know there is a website where i can do this but i can't seem to find it. A link would be helpful but not necessary, just the name of the site would be helpful. * I have the number plate and i know what the car's make and model is. Thanks

There is absolutely no way of checking who a car is registered to online. The only way is to go through the enquiries section at DVLA. There is a fee of either £2.50 or £3.50 for this service but there has to be a valid reason for the check (ie a road accident ) as they cannot just give out peoples information for no apparent reason.

DVLA. The area where registered is by the letter codes. As to registered keeper, think the only way is via DVLA, outlining your reasons and a fee is probably involved.

No one can have access to those information but DVLA and the police, so no you can't.

There is no way you can get this information without the owner of the vehicles permission.. You can apply for the information and you have to give your reason for wanting the information. If it is a valid reason , then the owner is contacted to ask if you are allowed the information. . Ths is under the data protection act.

very dangerous because it gives too many information, because information like that you could use it and Harris some one wrongfully so I think If you want that information you
should have to go to the police station and let them know what do
