im 20 , i dont have a car of my own , i am trying to get my license, i know how to drive an automatic but not manual, THe dmv here requires the vehicle to be insured , i cant find anyone with an insured automatic that will let me use their car to obtain the drivers license , i live on my own and my parents live far away so they cant help . trust me i asked bout everybody i know, they either say no or they say yes but dont do what they say they are gonna do
so my question is this, is there any kind of place that lets you use a insured vehicle to obtain a license for like a fee or something or a drivers ed place open to the public?, or do you have any suggestions ? im sure im not alone in trying to get a dl with no help

im in ontario, oregon, well i could learn manual but then i'd still have the same dilemma

Knowing your location would help people give you suggestions. Did you consider paying a co-worker or friend, or just learning to drive a manual? It's not that hard. |
