"my brother in law passed away in a car wreck about three months ago and i would not dare out someones life in danger....."
going 103 mph puts EVERYONE in danger...you, other drivers..just because you do not have a passenger in the vehicle it doesn't mean that you aren't putting anyone else in danger when you drive as careless and wreckless as you did.
you deserve to lose your license...and be fined to the max. |

Idiot, its not the ticket, its your parents insurance rates. Billions of hard earned dollars that shouldn't be spent on an irresponsible 16yo. Do humanity a favor and give your license back to the dmv, that would be the responsible thing to do, save your life and mine. |
|

probably not enough.... you should lose your license for 3 years. |

A lot. Why don't you try to do defensive driving to get out of it? Then all it will cost is the cost for the defensive driving class. I took the class when I got my speeding ticket. It only cost me like $40 bucks, and I had to spend one saturday doing this class. It wasn't too bad though, it was at Fuddruckers and you got lunch, watched some videos, took a stupid test and then left. Usually if this is your first ticket, you can probably get out of it by doing a defensive driving course. Oh and by the way, my ticket was in Harris county, in Houston so I'm sure it works the same in Galveston. |

What do you think you were doing? |

Probably your license, don't know how much in monetary fines, and probably your butt with mom and dad. They will be paying the insurance jump or take your license away themselves. |

Texas? You're getting the needle for sure! *L* Sorry, I couldn't resist. Not sure in your area but if it's your first you might go to court and if the judge is in a good mood... |

If it was your first ticket you should apply for a class to remove this ticket from your driving record. So then it will not affect you in any way. You can apply in the same place that you pay for your ticket. |

103???? You should have to pay millions. Shame on you for putting other drivers in danger. |

you must be a guy, cause you should be in jail. the ticket is going to cost a few hundred and your insurance will go thru the roof. |

OMG what the hell were you going that fast for?! You could've KILLED somebody! And you live in Galveston County? Wow scary, that's right next door to me (Brazoria County). Tell me what car you drive so when I see you I can get the hell away from you!
But to answer your question, you'll have to pay the ticket, and have your license revoked. You can't take defensive driving if you go over 20 miles over the speed limit. Lesson learned I hope |

make sure you go to the court date, don't just pay. You can generally get the fine reduced, reduce points against your license and/or make a payment plan. |

It's going to cost prison time, that's reckless driving a felony. There is no traffic school for you, beg the judge not to revoke your license. I hope you are a good student. |

Let's see, how much money do you have? It will cost you big bucks for the fine plus your insurance will go up. Possibly your license will taken away and your parents may take your car. Was it worth it? |

This is going to cost alot. It is considered reckless driving which is horrible. You might lose you license for a while and it is going to cost tons. Not to mention your insurance. I got a ticket for going 16 over and the ticket was $130. |

Thats a good think to ask a police officer or sherif (dont know what you have in your area). But as looking though google with your county, i found this. Submit your info (link on top)

Galveston County Where????? Well In Alabama it would be a reckless driving ticket which is around $250 plus 6 weeks driving school which is $240 and you have to go to court which is between $200-1000 You have got your self in big trouble anything more than 15MPH over the posted speed limit is Reckless driving which is a big bad ticket and cost lots of $$$$ well good luck... |
