If you have 2 speeding tickets with in a year on a CDL can you get court supervision on the last one and not go on your record and have your license suspended?

It all comes down to what state issued your license & the laws of that state.
CDL's are held on a higher standard than a regular license- since you are supposed to be a professional & a CDL is considered a Professional License.
And to some degree, I don't like that violations committed in your car goes against the Commercial portion of your CDL- other than DUI, which definitely should follow you regardless of type of license. For example- When I worked as a truck driver, I was more inclined to speed in my car (4000 lbs) instead of my rig hooked to a 53' trailer (up to 80,000 lbs) . Simple physics- the car is lighter, can slow down quicker and more easily to adjust to conditions as they change. A semi- at 65 MPH & doing a panic stop- it takes up to the length of a football field to get the rig safely stopped. But my actions in my car would affect my commercial license instead of being charged as a non-commercial infraction.
So you need to decide what's more important to you- being a better driver overall & never putting your CDL at risk or jeopardize your CDL with your actions outside your rig? |

Hopefully NO.
A CDL implies you drive something large, two tickets implies you do a poor job of this.
For the safety of those who must share the road with you, a suspended license would relieve some of our fears. |
