Someone once told me you can get pay as you drive insurance, is this true, if so what companies can you buy them from coz i only use my car at the weekend as i have company car during the week.

True.
Try Norwich Union. Although you may get it cheaper using comparethemarket.com or similar sites due to low mileage etc. Also the car has to be a certain age etc. We looked at it a year or so ago and decided against it. |

I am sure that it was Norwich Union but I read a few weeks ago that they have dropped the idea. I don't think anyone else has followed suit. |

it's a fact you can get tempoary insurance, just google it into yourc computer and it'll give you a list of companies, my partner use pay as you go insurance with e car insurance and it goes on a month by month basis, my dad need temporary insurance for a car and he got 24 hours cover for about 17 quid but i can't remember what company that was with. hope i helped though x |

I heard this last year that they where proposing to do this and then heard on the radio last some companys actually are doing it. The car is fitted with some kind of box which caculates how many miles you do and how much you pay. Excellent if you are only using your car weekends!
