No, you won't get points. But they will pursue you for the money, and keep adding onto it. Eventually they can seize your car.

if its a parking offence you wont get points just a fine, but they will chase you and it will keep getting bigger so its best to pay asap

It will not affeect your licence.
If however you fail to get the fine overturned or do not pay it those nice men with the big van will turn up to start taking your stuff away.

If this is a parking violation, it won't affect insurance rates.

If you don't pay, yes, they can put a hold on your license, and suspend your license. And if you move, they will track you down.

I think it will eventually affect your license if you don't pay, and yes, it follows you from state to state - I know because it's happened to me.

Parking fines are non-endorseable and don't need to be declared on insurance proposals - they are civil, not criminal offences - it would be different if for instance you were convicted of parking on a pedestrian crossing - which is a criminal offence.

Your credit record may be updated, however, in that you have a debt against you - in the current climate that could seriously affect your chance of obtaining credit.

They may be able to chase you if you move - but I hardly feel that the cost of a parking offence is sufficient motivation to move house!

i wud advise u to talk to the council again about y the fine was not lifted! and also contact the removal company for compensation

You can appeal, I don't think you can get points for it.
