It depends on the state you live in....I took drivers ed but i still had to do the driving portion of my drivers license.
Some states require drivers ed completion in order to take the test! |

Yes. Driver's Ed. is not a legal authority which can evaluate your driving skill. Only a gov't agency can certify that you can control a vehicle. |

yeah, you still have to drive. i just got my license about six months ago, and i took driver's ed, and they still made me drive when i took the license test. |

You took drivers ed in school right? Well After you passed the driving portion in class , the teacher should give you some sort of proof and you can get your license right away. I took it freshmen year so I'm sure. |
