In a word ... No.
In more than one word ... Maybe if ya didn't drive so badly you wouldn't have any points to give. They pedal next to the accelerator, it's a brake don't you know. |

I think a lot of people feel the same way as you, myself included, that they would much rather pay a bigger fine than have a fine and penalty points. I know a lot of good, safe drivers who have been caught by these much-hated speed cameras. Let's have more traffic cops and scrap these infernal cameras! |

you did the crime, you pay the fine. |

How does that work? Are you serious? Surely it's not possible to transfer speeding points from one licence to another... if it were, there would be a huge market!?
Edit:
A staggering 3.7 million* motorists – 12% of the drivers on UK roads - would ask a relative or friend to take speed camera penalty points for them if they were facing a driving ban, a new nationwide poll by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Swinton has revealed. (source keepumoving.co.uk)
Bloody hell!!!! There's even an insurance for speeding numb nuts.
To be a little more constructive here: Try all those Brits in Spain or elsewhere abroad who have a licence but don't use it because they took out local licences - they'll be likely to be happy to take your points as it won't carry any problems for them. |

With luck you are either close to or have already reached the 9 points which will deprive you of you licence and the roads will be much safer in your absence, what you are suggesting is illegal and will earn you more points if detected, Why speed anyway? are you in a hurry to wind up in hospital? Speed limits are set for your protection not to inconvenience you, Chill out babe and learn how to drive safely |

I'm not offering but here is a possible solution if you've been done on a yellow cash box. You will receive 2 letters so ignore them both. As they are sent by normal post and not registered, there is no proof that you have received them. Some police forces leave it at that as they rely on people's honestystupidity to pay up. Should it go furthur then if it was a rear facing camera you can say that you do not know who was driving at the time so that should be the end of it as you have fulfilled your legal obligation. However, if you were driving like a complete prat you deserve the fine and points. It's just too easy to be driving safely and miss one of those parasitic machines whilst concentrating on driving and not on the verges and behind bushes. Hope this helps as It comes from a voice of experience( with a clean licence!) |

Can I pay a higher fine and not receive the penalty points?
Not with a fixed penalty notice. The fine and the level of points are fixed and are not negotiable. You may however choose to plead your case at a Magistrates Court. The Magistrates have the power to impose much higher fines, increase the number of penalty points and to order short periods of disqualification. Your may also be ordered to pay court costs.
This section contains general information only. Always consult a solicitor for more specific advice.
Do I get both the fine and the penalty points?
Yes. Speeding is classed as an endorsable offence and therefore the points cannot be separated from the fine.
Always consult a solicitor for more specific advice. |

You can still drive without a license it's just not that smart of a thing to do. |

Totally illegal! Could get into serious trouble. There are ways to avoid points legally; I have details on my e-mail savings |
