has any body had problems with the DVLA eg. they say you dont have a license but you do or they have wrong details of you when you have informed them otherwise..... Any problems let me know

Hi,
One of the things I do at work is apply for licences for people. If you have any problems with your driving docs, your best bet is to call their freephone number and seek advice. If you are told you don't have a licence, give them as much info as possible to help them locate it. We also have alot of problems with incorrect names or DOB's.

Are you doing a survey, or do you actually want help? If the latter, I'd agree with the muppet, go along to your local office with the licence you have and get them to compare it with their records there and then. |

Actually write them a letter stating all your details and the problem. when I mean from details, you full current name and any previous names, addresses previous and current, licence number(s), DOB etc |

Yes, the DVLA are a complete waste of space. I wrote my car off at the start of january and they are adament that I am still the registered keeper of it despite me having written to them three times. they are now chasing me for non-payment of tax (which expired after the car was written off and they had been informed). Every time i phone them, i get a stupid recorded message which tells me my problem cant be dealt with over the phone and when i eventually do get through to them they just tell me that i will have to write to them despite the fact i have already done it.
sorry for the rant but they are so irritating! |
