I have a legal problem. I live in arizona, i'm being tried in Mesa
I was got a ticket for driving without proof of financial responsibility, cause i didn't have a current car insurance card on me.
I AM insured, i have been with Farmers for years, i just didn't have it in the car.
i've looked for weeks, but i just can't find the card that i should have had on that day.
i have a card that insured me up until a few weeks before the ticket, and i have a card that i got in the mail shortly after i got the ticket. . .
the lady i talked to at the court however says i need one that covered me on that day.
can i call my insurance office and see if they have a paper for me? or can i get an extension? what are my options?

Call your insurance provider, they can fax over a proof of insurance with the valid dates. They can usually do it within an hour, depending. |

Just call Farmers & ask them to either email or fax a Duplicate Declaration/POI & ID cards for the policy period in questions. You'll have them before you go to court. Make sure to ask them to send them on a "rush" or "urgent" basis. |

You can either call your insurance company and have them fax you your cards and policy papers or go to their website to download and print them out.
You're not stuck. Tell them you lost the cards and that you urgently need new ones. As long as you had valid insurance at the time you were pulled over and can prove it, you'll be okay.

I have farmers....just log in to your farmers account www.farmers.com and print off a card...if you dont have a printer go to kinkos or the library and do it. if that is not an option you can def go to ur nearest farmers office and they can print one for you. this same exact thing happened to me.
