I'm confused! I have a passport, but it's really old so it isn't signed as I wasn't old enough at the time. The form says that if it has a code and is signed you don't need to send it in? and it says if you do send your passport in as proof then you don't need your photo signed? So do I just send in my passport and not get my photo signed because my passport isn't signed?

So if i'm sending it in, do I need to get someone to sign my photo or not?

The passport needs to be a new, digital signature type to allow you to use it as ID without sending it in.
You'll have to send yours in as proof of ID.

Yes, you send your passport as proof of ID, and your photo gets signed as per the instructions on the form so they know it's you.
