i need to find the owner of a car with a certain number plate number any idea how to do this its important police arnt any help it includes a car accident

due to privacy laws, the police and or DMV can not give out the information you are looking for. If the police have been notified of the alleged accident and found nothing to substantiate it then i'm afraid you are out of luck unless you see the vehicle on the road again.

Give the information to your insurance company. If the other Driver did not stop after the accident then he has commited an offence and the police should be informed of this event
