can I get "inconvenience" pay from his insurance company? I have had to coordinate and take time off work and everything has been a hassle. This insurance company has not been like their commercials. What do i do?

You are entitled to lost wages, a rental car that is at least equal to your while yours is being repaired, and any and all medical arising directly from the accident. Do not say no injuries. Whiplash can surface days after an accident involving unexplained headaches,sore necks and upper backbone problems. You probably need to be checked out by a medical practitioner. Sign no releases until you are cleared medically. No company is like their commercials. Their duty is to protect their insured not the other party and some companies are worse than others.r |

You can get a rental car, and file the claim with your insurance company, they will then go after his insurance to pay for it. Im going through the same thing since this idiot hit me and destroyed my car head on..... if they give you a hard time tell them you will have your lawyer get involved. |

YOUR the boss your the injured party for your loos of income and time and you not having a car. YOU demand a rental car and let them know it better be as good or better than what you had the term "If I won't buy it I won't drive it" works best. Be sure to mention to them how much you make an hour and how much work you have missed. GO TO THE CHIROPRACTOR and tell them your will let them know when you know if you have injuries. NEVER take the first offer and counter off exactly double to 3 times what they offered. Always take your car with the most expensive storage charge. The insurance companies have to pay this charge and the more per day the faster they get to work. |
