Registering in TX after NV suspended registration

We moved from NV to TX and left our car in NV until we needed it. We let the insurance go and my daughter back in NV was going to bring plates to turn in. Well she did not I guess. We had the car shipped here (boy were we surprised to see the plates still on it), and we are going to register in TX, we have TX insurance and have inspected, but we do not have a current registration on the car, and the old one was suspended because of the no insurance. Are we going to have an issue or will we be ok to register here?
