Insurance fraud is a pretty serious offense, and those folks don't mess around. I think I'd own up and just tell them exactly what happened. |

For god's sake DO NOT lie to the insurance company. You would then have the possibility of being convicted of insurance fraud.
Just tell them. They'll know sooner or later since it is a lease. |

you should tell the truth, because there could be legal problems if you are caught in a lie |

Can't hurt to discuss with them. Worse case -- you pay for all damages yourself. Lie and you can end up in court or on a black list for auto insurance. |

Since you waited so long they probably will not pay for the repairs anyway. Usually when the accidents are not your fault, the company wont penalize you too bad. But you should get an estimate to see if you can afford to pay for the repairs on your own. |

did you file police reports for the hit/runs?
a auto appraiser can tell the difference of old/new damage on an auto. due to the point of impacts and rust etc over time. there may also be paint transfers from the other autos.
here is the problem. you will have 3 deductibles; 1 each for each hit/run and the keying.
my suggestion is go to a couple of body shops and get an estimate for all of the repairs. go to 2, 3 max. compare the prices. if one is quite a bit lower, may have to have that shop explain the big difference, since they may leave something off, then come back to you while being repaired and ask for more to cover.
now; take the lowest estimate.
say for example the total amount to repair 2 hit/runs and keying totals $2500; now lets say that you have a 500 deductible.
the insurance company would pay 1k and you will pay 1500 for 3 deductibles totaling 2500;
also; due to the 3 seperate incidents, your car rates will jump high due to the high amount of accidents in 1 year; the police report would help to verify you are telling the truth of the hit/run and might prove, not responsible, but even though your car is parked, you need to take better steps from avoiding it to happen in the future.
i would suggest calling your agent/insurance company and pose the question to them; i suggest not giving them any personal info, but with caller id, might be able to know who you are.
with an answer, you could then decide what is your best option;
pay yourself or go thu insurance.
good luck |

I would definately tell the truth about what happened, I'm not sure where you live but in Michigan we have a no fault law, where if your car is involved with a hit and run the insurance will fix the car and you don't even have to pay the deductible. I however wouldn't tell them when it happened, their could be a penalty for waiting so long, although maybe not, I have no idea how your insurance works. I personally would just call and tell them that your car was damaged you don't know who did it or how it happened and you need to get it fixed, simple as that, they have nothing to disprove what you say as long as no one had a police report written against you for any of the damage!!! |

yes tell them the truth.
It wasn't your fault.
why didn't you tell them right after it happened? |

For automobile insurance the quick way to get a good rate is do a rate comparison on car policies. Make certain that you pick similar options with the same limits, car make, zip code, etc so that all things are an accurate comparison.
What I usually recommend is an online comparison quote at http://www.lowratetoday.com since they have big name insurers and will give multiple quotes on car insurance polices. |

Act like it all just happened. Don't tell them you waited to file a claim. Say it was parked on the street overnight, you got up the next morning and your car was messed up |
