Of course you should report it. I'd also save the ATM receipt since that has the time/date and location of the incident. You might tell the police that the driver was directly in front of you, and give them the info printed on the receipt. Since there IS a record of transactions at every ATM, it shouldn't be difficult for them to apprehend the crazy person; all they need to do is request a read-out of the ATM transactions. In black and white, there will be the perpetrator's name, address, telephone number and anything else they need to arrest him! Good luck |

Yes you should, anytime you are involved in any kind of accident you should report it, because if he goes and reports it saying that you hit him *although not true* then you could get yourself in a perdicament. |

Yes, I would also call the bank and see if they have a video of the accident in case you have to go to court. This guy probably does this all the time, also it could come back on you for failure to report an accident. |

ABSOLUTELY!! Who knows how many times this guy has done this before. If he won't stop for a fender bender chances are he won't stop if he hits someone!!! He probably doesn't have a license or worse, he might be wanted for something else. He probably took off because he was scared, by all means the right thing to do is turn him in.GET HIM!!! |

DEFINITELY!! if you don't tell someone you are enabling him to keep doing what he's doing..which could lead to REAL damage to other cars and he could seriously injure a person! You must report it..it's the right thing to do!! |

You should have reported it immediately and not left the scene. The bank would have had surveillance tapes that could have helped you win your case.
My brother just got 14k for a hit an run when some crackhead run into him and took off, he chased the vehicle and called the cops. Turned out she had 4 warrants for her arrest and had a rolling methlab in the car with her. My brother's car wasn't especially damaged too much either. |

Yes. If there is enough damage you'll need a police report to get the repairs covered by insurance. The repairs should be covered under your uninsured motorists coverage. |
