Should i have to pay?
Find answers to your legal question.

Should i have to pay?

i work for a removal company driving and i would like to know if any one can help me plz wat i want to no is should i have to pay the access fee if involved in a accident or is it the firms place too?

It depends on who is carrying the insurance. If they carry it, yes, they should. Before you make waves - check to see if you weren't suppose to carry your own.

missree
your firm should pay for it because they should be the people who own the vehicle.

It all depends on your arrangement with your company. Do you have a work contract with them. Where I work it's down to me to pay the excess. But only if the accident was my fault.

Depends on the firm, and this is usually planly spelled out in your contract for employment. If you do not remember, then you need to consult your employer.
For the last firm that I drove for, they paid for damages in the liability, but I had to pay for all tickets and fees as a result of the accident and I was informed of this before I stepped into one of their vehicles for the first time.

Dude, unless your boss is a fan of Yahoo Answers, you are asking the wrong people.

The firm should pay. Check your contract of employment.

Who ever the insurance policy is in the name off should be liable to pay the excess fee.

So if the removal company own and insure the van you drive it is there responsibility to pay the excess.

putsomemeatonit
you are ultimately responsible

If you are asking what I think you are asking, then you should not have to pay.

It is on the person who owns the vehicle. In this case you company.

I am a claims adjuster.

If you're working for a company then they should pay the bills relating to the vehicle you drive.
