Sports Car Insurance <--------- 10 POINTS HURRY UP!@@@?

I'm getting a new car, I'm going to be 18 and which of the following is a sports car and how much would insurance cost me every 6 months if I have good-student discount, taken drivers ed, and would it cost less if I put the primary driver under my parents name.

Possible:
C-300 Luxury from Mercedes Benz (sedan)
C-350 Sport from Mercedes Benz (sedan)
328i from BMW (sedan)
335i from BMW (sedan)
IS350 from Lexus (sedan)
IS250 from Lexus (sedan)

I have the IS350 and my insurance costs me $1,380 for the six months and I have the good student discount (I'm 20) and multipolicy discount. Plus if you have state farm, you can get discounts for watching a dumb little video. Go to website I included and do the quick quote. That's without the discounts but it's a good reference.

PS: I would get the IS350... Best car I've had and I still get 17MPG with a heavy foot.

If you don't mind the lack of snob appeal the Subaru WRX is considered just an Impreza for insurance purposes around where I live. I'm not sure that the Impreza experience rating makes it a real cheap insurance risk, but it must be better than the cars you listed, and it will outrun every one of them both at the stoplight and cornering due to all wheel drive. I have a BMW 325xi and looked at all of the above. If you stay with that list and give up on trying to get cheap insurance get the 335i.

But whatever one of those you get, please please please go to a driving school (not a drivers ed class, but a real on track full day driving class, like Skip Barber or Bob Bondurant). That will let you enjoy your car more, stop us from reading about you wrapped around a pole with 3 of your friends, and might also save even more on your insurance, so check with your agent.

You did not provide enough information, Where do you live, What state, Are you in big city, Do your parents have any accidents, Is the car going to be paid off full and you have the title, Is it going to be a stick or auto.??

I do this for a living kid, you need to give us all that info Before we can even try to help you.

Your insurance will cost a lot - young drivers usually have higher rates because they have much higher risk of accident. And the cars listed are very expensive (I mean in insurance also).

Well let me see i am 18 and have a 1998 jetta vr6...and pay 890.00 every 6months, just liability........ so you will pay at least 1800 a month full coverage, at least!
