The instructor will ask for the insurance card before you take the exam. He/she will not permit you to drive without it. Sorry! |

When my son took the driving test insurance was required. Everyone had to show proof on insurance. No way around it. Sorry. |

You need to bring a car that has insurance and show proof to the driving test. If you can't do this, don't bother going to the test center. |

If you don't have insurance, the car should be driven. You are breaking the law if you take an uninsured car to the DMV for your driving test. Not a way to impress the driving examiner. |

No. You aren't the only one having a rough time right now so don't go in and make a huge sob story, nobody really cares. Every other American has to pay bills too, you aren't the only one. Get a policy or don't drive. |

Dude that's seriously bad news. You'll have to take the documentation to proove that you're insured on it if you're planning to use it on your test. Can't you just change your mind and use your instructors car instead? |

No way round it in your own car but you could try a driving school. |
