I'm 17 and I'm looking for insurance on my 2002 Land Rover 90 2.4. No companies will insure me for less than £3500 if at all! Any suggestions?

I am not surprised at the premiums but do feel for you - Insuring a powerful car as a young driver is an expensive business!
I am sure you are doing some shopping around but to be honest, I would be amazed if you suddenly found a company willing to insure for a lot less. If the car was old you might have been able to find a classic policy that would take it.
At 17, premiums on small cars, even for female drivers, approach £1000 so the quotes you are getting are not out of line.
My honest view is, unless you are OK with £3500, leave the Landrover until you have a years NCB and are 18 - Put the details through now based on it and see how much leaving it a year would save. If it is a lot more affordable as I assume it will be then get yourself a smaller engine car for the year.

My suggestion is to get a Fiat Panda 750cc and insure it on third party only no fire no theft.
Also, if you like offroad stuff and get a Panda, the 1000cc 4x4 can run circles around the Land Rover in town, motorway, fields, up hills, everywhere and anywhere. Power to weight makes it twice as powerful.
AND running costs are ridiculously cheap. 50mpg 4 tires 70 quid!
