Texas driver's responsibility surcharge?

Back in '04 I got a ticket for No Insurance and I had to pay a surcharge. When I got this I just quit driving, until now. I called the TX DMV and was told that if I made the minimal payments on 3 accounts for the last 3 years that my license would be reinstated. How can I check to see If my license is valid now that I paid it and plan on to keep paying it.
