The more important factor in terms of car insurance?

Mileage vs Car age

Am currently comparing 2 cars fairly similar in price and specs apart from these 2 factors.

One is a R reg Fiesta with 61k and the other is a W reg Corsa with 76k.

I know there's lots of things to consider but the rest would be same on each car really so which would you say is going to be expensive?

A newer car with more miles is worth less than an older car with less miles. More miles = worth less. Age is less of a factor.

I have had insurers that would contradict one another on exactly those two factors so there isn't a clear cut rule that I know.
In fact once I got two points for speeding and the insurer wanted to increase the price, I spent two days searching around and I found another insurer that actually got me to save money on what I was paying.
They said that they'd take the risk and a new customer than no risk and no customer.
Things aren't exactly what they seem sometimes.
