Lloyds bank gave me the best on-line quote for mine. For my wifes car Norwich union direct gave best deal. |

Have you tried somewhere like moneysupermarket.com, they can compare quite a few major car insurance companies. I've used them quite alot for one thing or another you can find the car insurance page at http://www.moneysupermarket.com/motor/ :) |

I would certainly try a local insurance broker as they offer a range of policies and will provide you with better service than a larger one - it's also good that you can call in if you need to speak to someone - the personal touch. They will also guide you through all the possible pitfalls when there are young drivers on a policy.
I assume you are not an expert in insurance - if you're not then you should not be considering buying online. |

Hiya my husband used elephant for himself and me on my provisional as they do not take any extra to add a learner driver to the policy. The level of cover provided is good too x |

tricky.. have you tried going to confused.com ?
try just under your name.. and ring them, see how much more it would be to insure her in addition, explaining shes a provisional driver.
i'm pretty sure you can get no claims build up on hers once she's under your insurance when she gets a full license..
i think norwich do that. |
