does anyone know if car insurance would cover a lightning strike to a vehicle?

If you have Comprehensive coverage (Damage not due to collision), that should cover it. Otherwise you would have to sue God under His Property Damage and Liability (PD&L)coverage or go to your Uninsured Motorist rider to put a lein on Heaven. I'll bet you can find an attorney willing to sue God and declare victory on default. |

Lightning strikes should be covered if you carry full coverage auto insurance. This is considered an Act of God claim. You need to call and report the damage to your insurance company. Keep in mind that you will have to pay your deductible. |

No, the cars are insured ,for accidents, theft etc. No cover for cars mainly in sri Lanka. |
