WA I was hit and it was not my fault. I don't have insurance, can I still get their insurance company to pay.?

why should that company have to pay if your not even insured? What would have happened if you had hit them? expect them to pay still? doesnt make sense get insurance its the law

You broke the rules and should not have been on the road without insurance. The other party's insurance company will argue that had you NOT been on the road the accident could not have happened. You're screwed and will probably have to pay for the other party's damage out of your own pocket too!

If your state requires you to have car insurance than you might have legal problems as well as the other persons insurance not to pay for you. But you can try. Call the insurance company and tell them that you need to submit a claim against one of their clients.
Usually your insurance would contact theirs. And remember they may not be nice to you. they are not on your side since they are insuring someone else, not you.

In Canada we need insurance to drive a vehicle, i'm guessing that you will be at fault because your car never should have been driven at all. And I sure don't know what DOL stands for.

If WA means Western Australia, your only real recourse is to make a civil case of it and sure for repairs to your vehicle.

The people who are telling you that you can't collect are wrong and obviously don't handle insurance claims.

The fact that you did not have insurance, while not very smart, does not automatically mean that the other company can deny your claim.

If you truly were not at fault then you will get paid.

You do need to worry about getting fined, losing your license and being forced to get SR22 insurance coverage which is very expensive. If there is a police report showing you had no coverage then you need to worry about this.

Most of the time the other company won't report you to the state for not having insurance unless you were at fault for the accident.

Please go by some insurance.

Their insurance company still has to pay since it is the other person's fault. Whether you have insurance or not does not affect the other person's responsibility for the accident. I know this from personal experience.
However, it is illegal to drive without insurance, so I would get some as soon as possible in case you get in an accident which is your fault.

Their insurance company will pay. I don't think that they will contact the authorities. If you aren't cited for driving without insurance, be thankful for that and especially for the fact that you didn't cause an accident and were responsible for paying hospital bills out of your pocket.

Did you call the police? In some states, the accident didn't happen unless there's a police report. That's what usually determines fault.

Unless WA is a "no-fault" state where each person repairs their own vehicle... yes, they should pay for your repairs.

If you don't even have liability and it's illegal to go without insurance there, you may get a ticket for that.

The insurance company of the person who hits you will pay you for the damages. You're just that lucky that you're not the one who cause the incident. you have to learn with this thing. I advice you to get your own car insurance. So the next time that you'll gonna drive, it's gonna be legal.

hey, no matter what they all say, i got hit in ca three days after i bought my car and had no insurance, but i got my car repaired. i had a whole door replaced. right after the accident i called gieco and got coverage over the phone. and then i called the other parties insurance co and reported the issue, and played dumb, duh, i don't know to one or two of the questions, but it mostly went like clockwork, they paid for towing, rental, and full service on my car.
