Yes Luke Is right. I also drove my fathers car for a few years back in the day. And when It was time to get my own I saved for It and bought myself a nice brown Dodge dart.and NO It didn't have the most coverted V8 engine. It had the old reliable 6cyl. My fathers car? a 1959 Desoto. Ever heard of that? It was a Chrysler product. And as a final CHICK magnet it was a Station wagon, Cool Right? I thought so.LOL But you drove what you could. Have fun

i didn't get my first car till i was 18 because that's when i could afford it my parents wouldn't buy me a car i had to work and save for it and it was a chevy camaro berlinetta it depends drive with your son/daughter and see how they drive yes i know when your not in the car they will drive differently but at least you can get a sense of how they will be when your not with them

a V6 automatic 1997 ford mustang, 5.5 years ago, when i graduated high school. i did drive it my entire senior year, but only because i was no longer living 4 blocks from my high school. IMO, a teen should only get a car when he or she can afford it. after i graduated, i had to start paying for the car (about $1000 total), and gas. prior to that, it was free, because it was necessary. i did have essentially free reign over the car, but only if i kept my grades up, didn't get tickets, and didn't break it

people can get a car whenever they want one and can afford one. having your own car as soon as u learn to drive is fine. I am 18 and havn't baught my first car yet, and probably won't for another few years. my parents are letting me drive their commodore at the moment.

April 1967! It was a Triumph Herald. I ran it for 4 years. My next car was a Ford Consul 1959 model. It cost me Â£13 (about 25$)! That was kept for about 3 years then sold for more than I payed for it! Now using a 2 year old Nissan Note - may get another next year when I'm due to buy a new car. The Note is a great car>

I got my first car when I turned 15 so I could practice driving in it and become familiar with it. It was a 2006 325i BMW. I drove it till I was almost 17 and my dad got my a 2007 x3, totaled it a month later, and it was not my fault, i won in court. then I got a new x3, which i like a lot better than my old one (3 series).

My first Car was a 1978 Dodge ram charger, Which now has an Edel Brock Intake, Holley 600 4 barrel sitting atop that, a new camshaft, RV crank, Headers and a nice set of glass packs.

The sort of truck you can get t-bones in and drive away.
