ok.. for those of u that have replied sensabliy.. thank you. rather then those idiots who relplied none or a platic one or some other crap. I have actually found the answer i was looking for.. a car called micro-car is one that can be driven with a motorbike licence

you can drive those buggys by xinling, they are great fun!! my dad had one and you can get them brand new and built for about £2000. He made a windscreen and you can get rain covers for them too. you can drive these on a bike licence as they use 250cc or 350cc motorbike engines and they can get upto about 50-60mph which is great fun. |

As well as '3 wheelers like reliant, Bond, etc' two makes come to mind--------------aixam and microcar-----------------------
both have 500 c.c. engines , both under the 'weight' limit for cat B1 licence must be 17 years old tho
((Motor tricycles / quadricycles, three or four wheeled vehicles with an unladen weight not exceeding 550kg))
There is at least 1 more make of 4 wheeler that fits this spec, cant remember name but Noel Edmonds has one!

I think (check with the DVLA on line if you're in the UK) youre limited to three wheelers, trikes, reliant's or odd classics like the Bond Bug, the Bond Equippe or the Isetta / Heinekel / Messerschmitt.
Seriously, if you've been riding a 500cc plus sized bike for any amount of time (year or so plus), you should easily pass the full driving test. It's probably the easiest route, and opens up more and cheaper small car possibilities. |

You can drive a pre-war Morgan, or indeed, any other TRIKE, but the fun doesn't necessarily come cheap, or with as much practicality,but whether you're male or female, you just might get a hairy chest!!
Mind you, check your licence 'cos mine's an old'un now. |

A micro car and a little car called a Aixam or somthing like that, it uses a kubota diesel engine not very fast but it will keep you dry in the winter and they do about 80+ mpg |

In the UK you are entitled to drive Certain cars here goes:-
with regards to 4 wheelers you can drive/ ride a quad and the full blown MICROCAR.
the MICROCAR is about the same size as a mini and is imported from france it has a 800cc engine the same as the small smart car ( the smart car is too big i'm afraid)
a 3 wheeler,
this includes the "rodney & del" reliant, but it also includes and vehicle made intended or adapted under a specific weight of 15cwt about 3/4 of a metric tonne,
So you can ride/drive any of the trikes you see on Ebay

People always get confused with this one - you cannot actually drive any car with a motorbike licence - up until 01/02/2001 you used to get a B1 category when you passed your bike test (category A) - its the B1 that alows you to drive a car with a maximum laden weight of no more than 550kg - that includes the micro car that people are talking about - so yes you can drive a micro car by passing a motorcycle test as long as it was before 01/02/2001 and you have a B1 category on your licence |
