Wat shud i do please help?

hi there, i was a victim of road rage on sunday. A guy on the road wouldnt let me change lanes or overtake. he kept on braking hard infront of me, and when i slowed down he slowed down too. So i couldnt get away. he stopped at traffic lights and the lights changed and he braked again suddenly and i rand in to the back of him. When i hit him he jsut drove off in speed and i just turned around and went to work. i was very scared. what could be the reason why he drive off ? am scared dont know waht to do

Go to your local police station and report the collision. (If you don't and he does, then you could be summonsed for failing to report an accident.) You should have reported this within 24 hours, but better late than never. Take your driving documents to the police station with you. (i.e. Certificate of insurance, driving licence and m.o.t. (if vehicle is over 3 years old). You are blameworthy due to the fact that you drove into the rear of his vehicle. However, if he hasn't reported the incident and you are not going to claim on insurance, I doubt the police will take any action against you. You are merely reporting the incident to the police to comply with the law and safeguard yourself from any possible comeback in the future.

I would want to report him for his actions.
Did you get his licence number. But on second thought, who knows what is in an unstable person's mind . Call the registry police anonymously and see what they say.

You should have got his number and make of car then reported him to the police. There's always a possibility that he's on CCTV somewhere.
I would still ring the local police station they may already be aware of him.
I was involved in an accident several years ago, where someone pulled out in front of me. I swerved missed them but hit a parked car.
The individual at fault stopped, they gave me their name, address and telephone number however, they said they were only a witness to the accident and refused to have anything more to do with it their husband was also a solicitor except the police had them on tape.

you did the right thing running into him... a taxi driver was doing that to me once, braking in front of me. I just let the car roll into his. He pulled into the right lane to pull over. I pulled up next to him, stared him in the eye and gave him the finger. That's the last I heard of him. This is why I only drive used cars around here you can't be afraid to trade paint with some of these scumbags.
