my birthday is may 11 & i will be turning 15 so im getting ready to get my driving permit. can someone please CLEARLY state what are the requirements to do so?
also, ive heard that you can take the drug & alcohol course and the road signs & road rules test before you turn 15. is this true?
so i need to know what courses or tests i have to take, what age i can take them at, and (if possible) the cheapest place to take them online. thanks [:

You can take the drug and alcohol course now if you wanted, just google it and you'll find it on the main website. Once you turn 15, you can set up an appointment with the DMV to take your written permit test. Get the driver's handbook and study it thoroughly, and when you feel you're ready (and have taken the drug course) take the test at the DMV. It's approximately 50-60 questions, and you can take it over and over until you pass it. Once you pass it, you get your permit and you're on your way. |
