I am 15 right now, going on to 16 in July in New York City. I live on the border of NYC, and I was wondering, once I have my learners permit, will I be able to drive to my school (not in NYC) on my own in a car, rather than taking a bus? Isn't there a rule, that I can drive to and from school?

Waiting until you get your license is best.
However, where i live (San Diego), it is often patrolled by Highway Patrol and Police Officers and breaking this law is highly discouraged.
Overall, It depends on your adrenaline, but bottom line you cannot drive to school with your driving permit. |
