I took my test there last week and didn't pass because of a tricky intersection regarding a railroad right before an intersection. While in hindsight it was a dumb maneuver, i'm too nervous when taking these tests to think about things like that. Can anybody that has taken a test there give me any more heads up about any other tricky intersections, or 'no-right hand turn' areas or something else that was strange or weird in Vallejo? My new test is in three weeks. Please, any help would be much appreciated :)

the ABSOLUTE easiest place in the Bay to do a driving test is in Corte Madera DMV in Marin.

I know someone else who failed in Vallejo also...and we both went to get it taken in Marin and passed. The only thing that might be trick is when you are on the queit street and right before the stop sign you will be told to pull over. When you then are told to pull out and make a left make sure you use your LEFT turn signal, then quickly switch to the right turn signal...Since it was such a small street and there were no cars , and she told me to pull over maybe 5 feet from the stop sign I just pulled forward to the sign and then used my right turn signal. USE BOTH!
That was the only minus point i got on the test, its so easy! |
