I can't believe you are asking this question.

Of course it is a scam.

Miss Typo!
im very worried if it is legal, cos it means people who cant drive can get licences putting other people at risk on the road.

i suggest u keep on at the proper test, i passed on my 3rd time and some of my friends didnt pass till 6/7 times.

even though its frustrating just keep on taking it and u will pass!!

Oh dear God... these scams have been around for ages, claiming there is some "loophole" in the legal licensing system. You'll get a very authentic looking license in the mail that is issued from Craplackistan (or some other alleged principality somewhere in the Steppes), but if you get stopped, or into an accident, expect the full weight of the law to come down on you since the license won't be registered with the MoT.

Failed for "petty things?" Uh huh. Considering a monkey could pass a driver's test, if you can't pass one, you shouldn't be driving.

Alice
It is a scam, and totally illegal. You already know this, because you have tried to sit the test the correct way, and know that that is the only way.

As a police officer, if I or another officer stops you driving a car with that fake driving licence, here is what will probably happen:-

Firstly, I'll seize the car and you'll be charged a minimum of £120 to pay the recovery firm plus another £23 a day whilst it's with the recovery company. The only way to get the car back is for someone who has a full licence and is genuinely insured to drive a 3rd party's car, to go with you into the police station with all their documents (insurance certificate and both parts of the driving licence) and get it stamped there. You then have to go to wherever the compound is and pay the full fees to the recovery company before they will release the car to you.
Secondly, you'll be given a Fixed Penalty Notice for driving with no insurance, which is a £200 fine and 6 points on your genuine UK provisional licence.
Thirdly, you will be reported for summons (court) for DOTIWAL - driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence, for only being a provisional licence holder. Expect another £200 fine and another 3 points minimum on your licence.
Fourth, if you have obtained insurance for the car by telling the insurance company that you have a full driving licence, then expect to be arrested for fraud by false representation for lying to the insurance company. You will then go to court for this as well.

Any police officer, door supervisor, shop counter staff worth their salt should be able to see straight through this fake id (in case anyone out there is thinking they can use it as id for alcohol!!).

you failed because you didn't pay attention , those petty things can cause an accident either to you or someone else. A car can be a weapon in the wrong hands. In alot of states, 3 failures means you have to wait 60 days before trying again. Read the book, sit in the car or a car and realize that your failure was because of you.

The monkey spanker.
you should read it more carefully
"Should you already be in ownership of an existing licence or even in some cases a provisional licence will be enough",.

Sounds like a scam, I can't believe they would not fix that loop hole fast.

Sal*UK
Don't get caught driving on UK roads with that!! And incidentally, you have to go to the country of issue to get it too.

Sally P
you're better off trying to pass the test. the reason you failed is cos you aren't good enough at driving yet. practice and get more lessons, until you are actually safe to be let loose on the roads unsupervised.

mtwaites
You are obviously failing the road tests for a reason. Practice the things that are making you fail, and then attempt to do the test again. This way is a cheap cop out, and it doesn't teach you how to drive. The driving test gives you simple things to do, and if you cannot handle simple things with driving, then you shouldn't be driving.

They look legal, but they are unable to put the hologram in them like the British driving licence. You would also bee booked by the police with this licence as they will have a record of your pass slip when you passed the driving test. This is all part of the data base held on all licensed drivers.

If it's too good to be true, it probably is.

What do you think?

If you drive with a dodgy licence and you get stopped by the police your insurance on you will also be invalid so expect to lose your car, do it properly, just because you failed a few times is no reason to give up, think about the money you have spent on lessons, look at the bits you are doing wrong on test and get it right, took me three times to pass my test many years ago and I have now been a driving instructor top grade for over 20 years.

This stinks of a scam, it looks like obtaining details of identity for fraudulent reasons.
You cannot drive unless you have a genuine licence issued by the DV LA

Licence to take your money, details and not worry when you are infront of the beak.

I hope that the law is heavy on people dodging obligations this way. Enough emphasis is put on speed as a killer. Not enough on other ways like this.

Your cheap cop out could be very expensive if you manage to kill yourself or someone else. Take some lessons from an experienced instructor who should correct what you are doing wrong and improve your overall standard of driving so that you are safe and competent for life.
