I had to go through that -- in Florida, if you get pulled over, you'll get charged with driving with no license -- which you COULD be arrested for. If you aren't arrested, you can be assured of a LARGE fee. |

In WI, you just get a late fee (its really expensive). If you don't renew after a year, you have to take another test. That happened to my friend. |

Once it is expired, you no longer have a license. If you get pulled over, it is a huge ticket. If you want to get another one, you'll have to re-take all the tests. |

In OH, you have a 60day grace period after your driver's license expires to get it renewed. In the meantime, you shouldn't drive until you get it renewed. After the grace period, you will have to go through the process to get your driver's license by retaking all of the required tests (written & driving). Good luck |

you can get a ticket while your license is expired. depends on the state you live in. if you live in florida and it is expired for less than 6 months its a moving violation. more than 6 it is a criminal violation and you are subject to arrest. my advice to you, look up the traffic statues in your state. |
