Not necessary.
Tax is a fine.
Mot is a fine and points.
No insurance is a fine plus 6 points but you may not get banned if this was your first offence.
You should really have taken out insurance because that is where the biggest problem lies...but its a bit too late now. |

all you can get is 6 points, and a heavy fine for each offence, its the no insurance thats the biggie, you could have killed someone, what you shouldve done is insure it and then book it in for an mot, that way they cant do you for the mot or tax either |

You will probably get 8 points for no insurance and be fined for no tax & test. Wouldn't of been so bad but for the insurance, i'm afraid it will be a costly ££ lesson. ;) |

If not banned then close enough to make sure you cannot afford any other slip up without getting the full house on your licence. The only POSSIBLE mitigation i can see lies with the tax - you could accept the no insurance (no excuse whatever for that one, my friend) charge and the MOT charge (you are only allowed to drive a car without MOT directly to an MOT station, not home first) but on the tax charge you could ask leniency on the ground that it is not possible to tax a car without an MOT, so at some point you would have necessarily had to drive the car with no tax to get it to the MOT station... it;s a very long shot and I suspect you won't get any joy, but that's the only part of it I can suggest may be possible to mitigate. |

you were lucky to not have your car crushed, they can do that now for no tax and no insurance. i was done for no insurance and no mot about a year ago and it was my first offense, i only got 6 points and a fine. |

If you have none of the documentation for driving a vehicle what makes you think you can take it onto the road?
There was no need for you to get behind the wheel until all the documentation was in place.
I hope they throw the book at you.

The main offence is clearly no insurance. This will attract between 6-9 penalty points and a max fine of £5000 (although the fine will be considerably less).
No MOT will be no seperate penalty and likewise for the tax. At the very most they will be a small fine. Ignore NEO. You will NOT get points for no MOT and no tax. Trust me. If you do then please come back on this site and tell the world.
If its your first offence you will not get banned. If you are a new driver in the probationary period (within 2 yrs of passing), then DVLA will revoke your licence for obtaining 6 points within the first two years. This would mean applying for a provisional, and retaking your theory and practical tests. |

Depends on the courts descretion, i think you will get atleast 6 points and a fine. Doubt it you will get a prison sentence jails are too full nowadays to bang you in jail for this sort of offense. |

You should have bought insurance on the car before it was picked up, maybe your ignorance of this MIGHT help. When you are interviewed by the Police, they will tell you what the charges are likely to be. |

not really sure. know you can move a car from your house to place of repair or point of sale or back without mot or tax, as long as you have appointment booked for work but think you may be in trouble for no insurance. |

Not sure about the points system but it all depends on the courts discretion yet a Prison sentence could be an option, as you have acted irresponsible. |

Depends on the courts. I pressume you have been reported for all 3 offences. Did the police sieze your vehicle too? In my experience, you will probs get a driving ban, fined and costs. This does not include costs if your vehicle got siezed!!! A lesson to be learnt in all accounts. Think of others on the road and the what ifs |

right , for no insurance its usually 6 points on your licence and i fine. For no road tax its usually 3 points, a fine and they can if they wish take your car and crush it (this law came in 2 years ago), although if they havent done this already then they probably wouldnt. And for no MOT its usually another 3 points and a fixed penalty fine, although the court may order you to mot your car to assess the dangers of your road worthyness.
All these may add up to a ban, but i have been charged with 2 out of these 3 here and only got 6 points and a heavy fine.
At the courts discreation, i think you would probably get 9 points and a heavy fine.
Dont be a silly man like i was and dont do it again. |

Be careful about that my friend, driving without insurance? You will be in big trouble if you will be apprehended by the authorities you might found your self in the prison. So much better for you, start searching on the net to fnd a cheap car insurance provider. As long as you got a reciept off the person you bought it from then it should be fine as long as you explain that to the police and prove that you just bought it. Say to them that you are leaving it on your drive or garage and they cant do anything. |

IF THIS WAS YOUR THE FIRST VEHICLE THAT YOU EVER BOUGHT I WOULD YES THAT YOU ARE IN BIG TROUBLE.
IF THIS WAS AN ADDITION TO LET SAY OTHER VEHICLES THAT YOU OWN WITH INSURANCE ON THEM, THEN YOUR OTHER INSURANCE POLICIES WOULD COVER YOU FOR AT LEAST 30 DAYS CALLED A (BINDER).
I AM ASSUMING THAT YOU MEAN (TX) AS EITHER BEING TAX OR TAG?
I WOULD SAY THAT THIS IS THE DEALERS FAULT AND NOT YOURS, BECAUSE THE TAX IS COLLECTED BY THE DEALER AND THE TAG WOULD BE SUPPLIED BY THE DEALER AS WELL.
LIKE SAID BEFORE IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME AND YOU WERE JUST DRIVING IT HOME I WOULD THINK THAT THE COURTS WOULD UNDERSTAND YOUR SITUATION. |

if you were genuinely driving it from where you bought it to go home you might get off with a warning, but usually when they stop you and you tell them you just bought it they tell you to get it sorted within 24 hours but if not in will be anything up to a 2 years ban and fine. |

i had no mot whitch i never know and i never had any insurance will i get 3 points lon my licence car tax just finish whitch i told i am allow drive with it for 2 week |
