What happens if I drive without a license in Georgia?

You will get a ticket and as soon as your new license comes in then you take it to court and they will charge you court fees and remove the ticket.

If you are pulled over and you have a valid Georgia Drivers license, you simply give your drivers license number to the officer that has stopped you. They in turn will run the numbers and make sure you have a valid license. Tell them that you have applied for a new replacement and show them your receipt from the drivers license division. Make sure you have a valid insurance card and your registration. The more valid information you have in your possession the better.
You are allowed to drive your vehicle as long as you have a valid drivers license even if it's lost. I am a Georgia Deputy Sheriff, and I encourage you to call your local county Sheriffs office to confirm. Hope this helps.

if you get caught it will be the same thing as not having one,the officer wont be able to verify that you have applied for one,and he will probably issue you a ticket,they may dismiss this if you go to court with your license,but that's still a big risk to take,good luck on it.

Do you have a print out for the on-line transaction? if you do just keep it until you get your license. If not just don't drive.

You will get a ticket. If you have a clean record (WITH NOTHING ON IT) the judge may let you off if you have a valid license on that day. You will have to pay court fees too.

Huge fine and a year where they take away your license. This is only if you get caught though.

If not, call the DMV and ask them.. It is not worth getting a ticket and points.

nothing. if like in ny, they run a check on you and see you have a license. then they let you go. you may get a ticket for not having it on your person but i believe in ny that if you take the ticket and show your license at traffic court they dismiss it. you don't get arrested though if that is what you mean. or it won't make you get your license revoked or anything. you have a license, just not on your person. that is not a big deal.

Driving without a ticket anywhere will land you in Jail more than likely. Bail will depend on times as well, but hey if you want to run the risk. More power to ya!

Well if you get caught for the first time its varies from a simple warning to a ticket but if you get several violations for driving with a suspended license that leads to no more fun and games.
