I would hope you that you would get an instant driving ban and a hefty fine if you were that stupid. |

You deserve to get the book thrown at you - large fine and a very long ban. God bless you when the suspension expires for your insurance company will be rubbing their hands together in glee. |

Hefty fine, few months ban.
Rightly so too. |

Minimum SP30 conviction, fixed penalty £60 fine and 3 points. Not sure on auto-ban if you more than double the speed limit. |

UK Double the limit or over is a ban |

They will take your licence away and fine you a BIG amount.
Personally I think you should go to prison. |

you will be banned for a minimum of a year but more than likely 2 as to be quite honest you are a menace on the roads, and it is because of people doubling their speeds on a residential road and thieving cars etc that our insurance goes up. |

Firstly you should not attempt to do that.
You are endangering others and your lives.
You get a big fine, your insurance goes up. |

You get a ticket for 40 over the speed limit. This allows you to trade in your license for a bus pass. Your insurance (once you get your license back) after the ban goes through the roof, plus you will have a very high fine to pay in court. |

You will be charged with reckless or negligent driving. The fine will be high, and depending on how long you have had your license, you could be suspended. |

With a bit of luck you'll lose your licence forever, but you will probably get a slap on the wrist a£50 fine and 3 points.
you could have killed someone!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

If you are a police officer. you will normally get away with it. But if you are a police office or not. Doing that sort of speed in a 30 zone. You should be banned from driving for 2years and than take another driving test. Not to mention a big fine fine that should be given to a charity that helps familys that have lost loved one that have been killed by drivers doing that kind of speed in a 30mph zone. this of course will not apply to police officers that are in unmark or mark cars and not on emargency calls. As we all now that they can break the law when they seem fit. simply because they are the law. |

You pay the fine , a big fine , and your license endorsed !! |

Konfuzius

In Europe you would be subject to pay a fine of 150 Euro.
If you are a beginner and your overspeed is proved by an
official measuring instrument you will loose your Driving Lisence. |
|

russarhzr

Immediate ban as you are over twice the speed limit.
Kiss goodbye to your licence. |

if you want an exact answer you should probably let people know where you're from in your question (it might be on your profile or something but i couldn't find it). The law is different everywhere.. |

u have to go to court and plead for them to let u keep your licence |

Best guess: 3 month driving ban + fine. |

In Washington State if you are 15 miles or more over the posted speed limit you can get cited for wreckless driving. |
